Area of Specialization: HIV/AIDS and Clinical Care.
Dr. Raju has over 37 years of experience in the medical field, of which 26 years were spent with the Government of Mizoram Health Services. He has also worked as Chief Medical Officer, casualty department at the State Referral Hospital of Pathology for 18 years. He underwent advanced training programmes in the field of HIV/AIDS, diarrheal diseases, oncology and immunohematology. He has served as Mizoram State Nodal Officer for AIDS and blood banking services. Dr. Raju's association with FXBIS as Medical Advisor is much over a decade and a half during which he has contributed immensely to the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS infected as well as affected beneficiaries of the organisation.
Aslam Khan has completed his master's degree from the social work department of Jamia Millia Islamia in 2006. Ever since, he has been involved in grassroots work in the development sector, working on the issues of gender, education, minorities, dalits and rights, farmer's issues, construction workers, domestic workers and factory workers for 16 years now. He has worked with SHGs in Gujarat on the issue of women and health, assessment of non-formal (NFE) or alternative education of children in Mumbai, and monitored housing projects for beneficiaries under the Sardar Awas Yojana (SAY) in South India. He has worked for Air India (radio) in Mumbai where he wrote many stories highlighting the plight of women and their experiences. Aslam's area of specialization include community mobilization, programme implementation, programme assessment, besides being a resource for workshops on developmental issues
Area of Specialization: NGO management, financial management, human resource development, financial and legal compliances.
Suresh Chander holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce and carries with him nearly 15 years of experience in the development sector. He holds strong experience in administrative & financial management and matters related to legal compliance. He is responsible for managing finance, accounting, due diligence, office administration and human resources at FXBIS. He inspects the cash flows, auditing, taxation, balance sheets and programme/ project budgeting. He has in-depth knowledge and vast experience in managing UN, INGO's, Global Fund, Corporates and Government grants. During his tenure at FXBIS, Suresh has exhibited assorted skills of managing grants funds, which require an analytical skill along with integrating between the technical and financial aspects of programme management.
Area of Specialization: HIV/AIDS, rural public health, education and livelihoods, conceptualizing social business models.
Kiran Kumar holds a post graduate degree in social work and is pursuing PhD on 'Girl Education amongst Fishermen Community' from Andhra University, based on his vast and in-depth field experience. He has over 20 years of work experience in implementing large-scale HIV/AIDS and integrated rural development projects. His specialisation extends to water and sanitation, education and livelihood programmes in rural India. His tenure at FXBIS has spanned over a decade during which Kiran is known to conceptualise, strategise and implement scalable social entrepreneur models for SHGs in both rural and urban India.
Area of Specialization: Child Protection & Safety, human trafficking, research, vulnerable community behavior & response, conceptualizing and operationalizing community building programmes and capacity building/training.
Satya Prakash holds an M. Phil degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics and has specialized on Social and Behavioral research at the University of Miami, USA. He has been Visiting Fellow at the Faculty of Social Science, University of Leiden, The Netherlands.
Satya has worked extensively in the areas of Child Rights and combating human trafficking with more than a decade of experience in the area of child protection & child development, child sexual abuse and juvenile justice as practitioner, researcher and trainer. He has implemented several projects supported by UN Agencies, Bilateral organization, Global fund, State and central Government built around these subjects.
Satya serves on the panel of experts for Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Child Resource Centre – a joint initiative of Department for Child Rights (DCR), Rajasthan and HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration to sensitize the state police, stakeholders and other CSOs working on similar themes. He has carried research studies commissioned by UNODC, UNDP & Harvard University and has many articles and research papers to his credit.
Satya has been nominated as a member of the Research Advisory Group of the National Resource Centre on Child Labour (NRCCL) at the V.V. Giri National labour Institute (An Autonomous body of Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India). He also serves as a panel member of the committee for formulating Indian Standards for leveraging Human Capital in Brick Kiln under Social Responsibility Selection Committee constituted by Bureau of Indian Standard (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India). Recently he was selected by the United States Department of State's to represent India in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on Combatting Human trafficking.
Area of Specialization: Gender, child sexual abuse, child counselling, life skill training.
Pranjita Borah holds MA in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She has over 4 years of experience in the field of anti-human trafficking and child protection. She has worked extensively in the areas of child rights and combating human trafficking and had been part of various rescue operations held in and around the states of Delhi & NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. She is experienced in providing counselling services to victims of human trafficking and sexual assault. Pranjita had also been involved in various research studies on the scenario of human trafficking in trafficking prone zones of the country.
Area of Specialization: Decentralization and local governance, rehabilitation & resettlement (R&R), public health, qualitative M&E, advocacy and training.
Charu Singh holds a masters degree in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics and a diploma in Environmental Law from Indian Law Institute, Delhi. She has around 14 years of experience in research, communications & advocacy on issues of public health, HIV/AIDS, gender and indigenous livelihoods. Her involvement as Consultant with the Ministry of Panchayati Raj resulted in successful decentralization (open access) of bamboo for all tribal communities across India. She also helped develop a training module on R&R for policy implementers, which is currently in use by Land Resource department, Ministry of Rural Development. Charu has presented papers at several conferences and seminars on the aforementioned themes, besides conducting trainings on research methodology, R&R and workshops on life-skills and individual learning styles.
Area of Specialization: Gender Studies, Protection and Safety (Human Trafficking), Urban and Spatial Geography, Regional Development.
Chetana Naskar holds an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. degree from Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has extensively worked on Spatial and Gender geographies, Gender Mainstreaming, and the Social Dynamics of Power. She possess an understanding of the politics of space (public-private dichotomy) – power dynamics, mobility and restrictions, fear and violence - from the vantage point of gender. Her keen interest in social matters is reflected in her academic research and works. Currently at FXBIS she holds the position of Research Officer and is working on areas around combating human trafficking, protection and safety issues, sexual and gender based violence. Prior to this she has worked as a Researcher in collaboration with Revue and as part of the research team of Mobile Mohalla - Network and Neighbourhood phase II [a project which worked in understanding the social and gender dynamics among and between the locals and refugee communities at Khirke extention and Hauz Rani] supported by Khoj International Artists' Association and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.
She has also worked as a field investigator with Population Council to study the behavorial dynamics of adolescent children at a slum in Delhi, a project funded by John Hopkins University.
Archana Maurya has pursued her graduation from Delhi University. Her association with FXBIS has been since 2015, during which she has contributed towards administrative tasks supporting the Finance & Administrative Manager. Archana is also our in-house content writer for publications in Hindi and is often assigned the role of anchoring FXBIS events besides giving voice-overs for Hindi scripts for in-house documentaries.
Prakash Kumar Sinha's association with FXBIS dates back to the beginning of the Organisation. He is involved with all Secretariat office and bank related activities. His sincerity and dependability to efficiently perform all assigned errands has made him an indispensible part of FXBIS.
Shivakant Pandey has been dedicatedly taking care of the Organisation pantry for close to 9 years. His culinary skills are par excellence and have always won the hearts of all at FXBIS family. He efficiently handles the pantry stock as well as in-house cleanliness of the Secretariat.
With experience of over 15 years, Surender G. has proven his dependability to ferry people on time during the busiest of traffic hours, courtesy his impeccable knowledge of Delhi’s roads and by lanes. Besides driving, his skills as a cook are brilliant which is why he is often found helping inside the pantry if not driving. Prior to joining FXBIS two years back, Surender G. was chauffeuring for a multinational head.
